Day 49 Lander to Dubois 75miles

The 3 of us departed from Lander and travelled through the Wind River Indian reservation ,lots of ranches, horses and a few trading posts, the country side was green and looked very well looked after. After a few miles we were back to the desert and bleak mountains.Yet again the head wind suddenly started and we battled against it for the next 33 miles. The terrain changed very dramatically when we were about 20 miles from Dubois , huge red rock formations came to greet us,stunningly beautifull with the Wind river running beside us,what a pleasure it is to see these dramatic feats of nature. We arrived very tired into Dubois but still found time to to ride the Jackalope and have a great meal and a few drinks.Big climbing day tomorrow
