Day 25 Ellington to Summesville 47 miles

Last night we had a very social evening with Betsy and Wayne which included sampling guite a lot of Waynes home made wine so we were a bit late starting this morning .As predicted the first 35 miles was very difficult.ups, downs,no hard shoulder and lots of trucks. We stopped in Eminance for lunch and after that there was a terrible 3 mile climb at 7% before we reached what was supposed to be the "flat"section. There had been thunder storms around us all day so we headed for a cheap Motel in Summersville owned by a Forest Gump type person, and then it lashed down. I hate these bloody Ozark hills
